The doors to The Ruby Orchard opened in February2013 by Hannah Keppler, an English mother on a South African adventure. Hannah, and her South African born husband, moved to Howick in June 2012 with a suitcase each in hand and one very tired little son...
The idea of The Ruby Orchard was born from Hannah's nostalgia of home brands and her amazement at the 'local is lekker' creativity that South Africa had to offer. One creative logo designer, a repaint, some new work benches and the shop was up and making homes pretty.
Since the official opening The Ruby Orchard has grown in strengths and continues to keep The Midlands Meander supplied with only the most gorgeous products to decorate your home with.
